Provide and maintain a covert and proactive surveillance operation that protects theCompany's gaming licenses and assets. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.

Essential Functions: 1. Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's Company-wide culture and demonstrating Service Standards at all times.2. Be completely familiar with gaming regulations, the Company's Internal Control System, the departmental policies and procedures, and have working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws. Ability to monitor other department's policies and procedures.3. Maintain current information on known cheaters, advantage players, scams, and illegal methods of gaming.4. Thoroughly understand Company emergency action procedures.5. Cooperate with other departments in protecting the assets of the Company.6. Attend court, hearings, and other legal meetings as a witness for Graton Resort & Casino, gaming regulatory agencies, or law enforcement agencies when appropriate.7. Operate all surveillance CCTV and related equipment, and if necessary, conduct floor observations to detect any violations of law, policies, and procedures.8. Report to the Director of Surveillance any violations of the law, gaming regulations, and Company policies and procedures, as well as all pertinent information regarding the Surveillance department.9. Observe the precepts of truth, accuracy, and prudence, and do not allow personal feelings, prejudices, animosities, or friendships to interfere or influence judgments.10. Maintain strict confidentiality with respect to the operations, controls, and procedures involved in surveillance activities.11. Have knowledge of all casino games, including but not limited to Blackjack, Dice,Roulette, Baccarat, Let It Ride, Caribbean Stud Poker, Pai Gow Poker, Slots, Poker, Keno, and Bingo, and understand all relevant aspects of each game, such as dealing procedures, counting strategies and methods of cheating.12. Conduct routine random surveillance and "special observations" as approved by surveillance management.13. Conduct surveillance reviews or "audits" to confirm transactions or events.14. Must be reliable, trustworthy, and honest.


Required Qualifications:

1.Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.2.Must be at least 21 years of age.3.Must be able to successfully pass a Gaming Commission background investigation.4.Must be professional and investigative.5.Be able to react quickly and accurately under demanding, high stress conditions.6.Be able to work constantly changing schedules to adjust to fluctuating business demands and work any shift, including holidays, with fluctuating days off.7.Be able to be autonomous and very low profile.

Physical Requirements:

1.Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguishletter, numbers and symbols.2.Ability to work in confined areas.3.Ability to lift up to 30 pounds with or without assistance.4.Ability to work in a high energy, high-pressure environment.5.Ability to hear.6.Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and sit for duration of shift.
