Position Summary


$3,000 sign on bonus


Position responsible to provide furnace clean-out and maintenance support to Morgantown's Melt Shop Operations.


Responsible for setting up furnace chambers for production as assigned by the Lead Operator or Supervisor. Duties include:


Clean and maintain E.B. Furnace viewports, sample lock valves, sample taker, and swivel feed-thru equipment to minimize the possibility of leaks and failures as well as performing other general repairs, reliability and productivity improvements, and process development projects as assigned.


Education and Experience:



  • H.S. Diploma/GED required; trade school or additional training preferred.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with mechanical assembly experience highly preferred

  • Ability to work with heavy rigging, piping, welding, and torch cut.

  • Forklift, crane-operating experience highly preferred.

  • Ability to communicate effectively.

  • Must be able to wear a respirator and work in confined spaces.

  • Must be able to lift up to 35lbs

  • Available to work holidays and weekends
