WHAT YOU'LL DO:


The Human Resources Payroll Generalist performs the administration and maintenance of all payroll related multi-state payroll activities. Ensure all multi-state taxes, tax related benefits and multi-state payrolls are processes efficiently and timely. This position will be involved with benefits, training, and workplace safety.


The successful candidate will:



  • Process payroll using Paylocity. Enter and update employee data information to payroll system. Reconcile payroll, fund flex contributions, fund 401K contributions.

  • Answer employee questions about human resources matters such as insurance, payroll, retirement plans, hiring procedures, and company policy.

  • Triages all phone calls and email inquiries to ensure customer issues/questions are responded to and resolved in a timely manner.

  • Assists in development and implementation of policies and procedures, prepares, and maintains employee handbook and policy manual.

  • Maintains policies and employee portal on the Company intranet site.

  • Responsible for employee data integrity and accuracy in the company’s HRIS system; including compiling and analyzing monthly and ad hoc reports.

  • Administer the medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, and life insurance benefits; all premium calculations, payments and reconciliation are performed.

  • Administer retirement program.

  • Support the administrative process for leave of absence and Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) compliance.

  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment are made to specialists when necessary.





WHAT YOU'LL NEED:



  • Paylocity Multi-State payroll experience.

  • Paylocity Self-Service experience.

  • Paylocity Benefits, Onboarding, Learning, Performance is a plus.

  • Knowledge and skills with general areas of Human Resources.

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or High School Degree/Equivalent and 5 years of work experience in human resources and payroll.

  • Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues.

  • The ability to research and analyze various types of data information.

  • Must have the ability to make recommendation to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is in consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations, or government law.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.

  • Be able to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Access, and Excel.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
