The practice offers a range of services tailored to patients' visual and medical needs to ensure optimal vision. The team of professionals specializes in comprehensive eye care, specialty contact lens fittings, and a wide array of medical eye care services to monitor and treat various conditions and illnesses. Additionally, the doctors refer patients to their network of advanced specialists. To help support practice growth, GHEye is looking for an Optometrist to join the highly trained team.

About the Optometrist Opening

GHEye has an excellent opportunity for an Optometrist committed to providing exceptional eye care with unparalleled service. You'll perform comprehensive eye care for various ages, ocular conditions, visual and medical diagnoses. A team of optometric technicians, opticians, and administrative associates will provide support, allowing you to focus on providing top-notch care. The position is full-time, offering a four-day workweek on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday; or a family-friendly schedule of two full days and two half days. A candidate with experience or an interest in dry eye or specialty contact lenses will be an asset to the team.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, excellent patient communication skills, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will want to continuously develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services. As a valued team member, you'll directly contribute to the continuous development and long-term business success of GHEye.

Required qualifications skills include:
  • Optometry license in the state of Virginia
