Job Description

  • Retrieves messages from voice mail and forwards to appropriate personnel.
  • Answers incoming telephone calls, takes orders from Wholesale customers and Company owned stores.
  • Prepares pick schedules, reconcile shipments. Updates warehouse computer records for product movements through key-punching such activity.
  • Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. 
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization, or by phone.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized
