Orange County is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity. We are seeking a motivated, high energy, self-starter to serve in the role of EMS Health Services Project Coordinator. Conducts special project assignments and provides administrative support to the assigned division. This is responsible administrative work assisting the Division Director. The incumbent conducts assignments to enhance and improve division operations. An employee in a position assigned to this classification performs research, analysis and evaluation of programs, projects and operational procedures. Work is performed with considerable independence under the general supervision of the assigned supervisor


Representative Duties




  • Provide logistical support in Health Services Warehouse, responsible for maintaining inventory control an distribution.
  • Maintain People with Special Needs cache in a deployable state. Mobilize and repack as necessary.
  • Repair, reutilize and rehabilitate resources to extend usable life where feasible.
  • Maintain an “all hazards” approach with county procured resources.
  • Maintain the capability to respond to a no notice medical surge event and be able to establish the infrastructure for an Alternate Care Site under austere conditions.
  • Maintain the capability to respond to a no notice event and provide responder rehab facilities to the incident upon request.
  • Coordinate with external agencies/organizations for integration of their resources in response to a county or regional response.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.





Minimum Qualifications




Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics or emergency management ; or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience

  • Must be able to able to lift, carry and push 60 pounds
  • Fork Lift and Pallet Jack operations
  • Warehouse operations
  • Light and Medium truck with trailer experience
  • Can perform light maintenance with power tools
  • Basic proficiency with MS Office
