DIRECTOR BUSINESS SERVICES, Professional Billing



This position is critical to managing all Professional Billing functions for UCHealth Medical Group.



Job Duties

  • Oversight of a large team specializing in the activities of receivable management and billing for all UCHealth Medical Group locations.
  • Responsible for the overall accounts receivable functions of the organization which include, but is not limited to billing, insurance follow-up, cash posting, and supervision of vendors.
  • Develops and implements departmental goals, plans and standards consistent with the administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
  • Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
  • Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
  • Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.



Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 3 years of relevant experience



The midpoint pay for this position is: $74.83 / hour. Midpoint is based on approximately 10-15 years of relevant work experience. An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
