Job Summary:

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for collaborating with other marketing and sales professionals to develop successful social media campaigns to enhance our services and build strong online communities through our various social media platforms.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing the company's digital marketing plan and social media strategy, identifying strategic weaknesses, and making recommendations for improvements.

  • Manage and oversee social media content, develop ways to engage users, and create an interactive relationship between customers, partners, and the company.

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign's performance against the KPIs.

  • Develop weekly and monthly analytics reports for submittal to Manager and Marketing Team.

  • Work with our designer to ensure content is informative, appealing, and on-brand.

  • Establishing relationships with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.

  • Successfully execute partnered social projects.

  • Increase traffic and customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies.

  • Creation of content that meets company standards.

  • Stay current with social media trends and best practices ensuring maximum effectiveness.

  • Research opportunities for new social marketing platforms and select adapt the current process to fit company needs.

  • Researching audience preferences and discover current trends.

  • Creating engaging text, image, and video content.

  • Designing posts to sustain readers' curiosity and creating buzz around new industry trends.

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop social media campaigns that help achieve corporate marketing goals.

  • Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries.

  • Report on online reviews and feedback from the audience.

  • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering traffic and customer engagement metrics.

  • Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

  • Must exhibit good interpersonal skills and communicate well over the phone and in person.

  • Must possess strong social media platforms and admin/PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud, Outlook and the Internet. Ability to write and create content and graphics is critical.

Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements:

  • Must have at least an Associate Degree; Bachelor's Degree in Social Media or Communications is preferred.

  • Two (2) years of experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist or similar role.

  • Must have experience in customer interfaces, such as liaison between the customer and the Company.

  • Must be outcome-oriented – results-focused with strong performance culture.

  • Must be innovative – think outside the box.

  • Ability to create compelling video and still ads that produce results.

  • Must be team-oriented – cooperative and collaborative.

  • Must be able to multi-task.

  • Must be able to prioritize.

  • Excellent creative writing and editorial skills are a must.

  • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research.

  • Understanding of how content works on social media platforms. Be on top of the latest digital marketing trends (know what our partners and competitors are doing).

  • Experience with leading social media management and analytics tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.).

  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Podcasts, TikTok, and other social media best practices.

  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.

  • Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively.

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and the Internet.

  • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud.

  • Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
