Palladian Partners, an Altarum company, is looking for a Digital Communications Associate to support high-profile national public health campaigns and projects. In this role, you will work as part of a technical team, and you will need to communicate effectively with a broad variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders. CMS Administration:

  • Support clients using several content management systems (CMS), such as SharePoint and Drupal, including migrating content into CMS

  • Update content within CMS

  • Develop training manuals and documentation for migrations and new CMS processes

  • Research and develop best practices for permissions, workflow, governance and updates within various CMS tools

  • Support QC efforts across clients and various initiatives
  • Serve as internal resource on best practices for CMS

Digital Marketing:

  • Manage entire process for email marketing and online newsletters

  • Execute formatting, preparation and distribution of online newsletters in collaboration with teams

  • Using Google Analytics, pull data and prepare reports in collaboration with digital analytics manager

  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate content across platforms

Content Strategy Support:
  • Assist content strategists with content audits and analysis

  • Develop taxonomies and metadata

  • Support usability testing

  • Support redesign projects and migrations


Education and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree required

  • 2+ years of experience in a digital communications role

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of HTML and Google Analytics.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Outlook and MS Excel.

  • Ability to work comfortably under pressure and prioritize multiple work responsibilities, with competing demands, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Familiarity with content management systems, including Drupal and WordPress.

  • Laser-sharp attention to detail and accuracy, and experience adhering to style guides.

  • Exceptional time management and organization skills.

  • Ability to initiate and complete tasks with minimum supervision.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
