Job Details:

The expectation of this position is to staff and retain personnel for the Pedigree Complex to achieve business and regulatory requirement. Essential functions of this position are providing candidates to meet staffing needs; to manage employee relations; achieve and maintain company policy and federal and state regulatory compliance; develop and maintain effective and qualified team members; and perform administrative duties as assigned. The competencies essential to this position include functional technical drive for results planning managing measuring work time management building effective teams ethics values motivating directing others conflict management written communication developing self-others and verbal communication. Experienced professional position requiring an understanding of broad concepts related to a professional field. Requires ability to work independently on moderately complex assignments with minimal supervision. Interprets and expands on complex and diverse procedures.


Experience: College degree or equivalent experience with 2 plus years of progressive experience in field of expertise or advanced degree with limited experience. SHRM-CP SCP or PHR SPHR preferred.

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office. Must be able to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals using available computer programs.

Travel: Travel domestically approximately two 2 to four 4 trips per year.

Biosecurity: The jobsite is a biosecurity environment which requires showering before entering the facility and could require multiple showers during the work day. Appropriate clothing and footwear is provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species chickens ducks and birds . The Company Animal Welfare Policy must be followed at all times. Must be willing to follow the guidelines in all Cobb Farm Hatcheries Biosecurity Standards.

Physical Requirements: Must use safe lifting techniques. While performing the duties of this job the team member is regularly required to stand walk sit use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms balance stoop talk or hear. The team member must occasionally lift and or move up to 25 pounds.

Personal Protective Equipment: Safety goggles rubber boots and gloves and earplugs will be used as needed.
