Housing Works Health Services has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Health Center Director! In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the clinical and administrative services of the Health Center and for ensuring effective and efficient day to day operations in accordance with the standards and policies and procedures.



Responsibilities:


  • Handles recruitment, retention, training and oversight of administrative staff. Provides leadership and direction to facilitate optimal standards of administrative performance.

  • Ensures an optimal patient experience and engages patients as such, where relevant.

  • Ensures health center compliance with relevant policies and procedures, and overall strategic plan.

  • Facilitates effective collaboration with internal and external partners, as well as with management team and clinical staff.

  • Ensures quality and performance of operational functions in order to achieve desired outcomes, as well as compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain strong relationship with Finance Department to measure financial outcomes relative to front end processes.

  • Work with providers and staff to ensure optimal provider productivity.

  • Identify areas for improvement and develop detailed action plans as necessary.

  • Optimize patient flow and patient access.


Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors degree preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years preferred management experience in health center operations.

  • Supervisory experience preferred.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Strong ability to manage, motivate, and lead teams.

  • Strong team orientation and staff performance accountability skills.
