Overview:

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Business Support Analyst for Supply Chain is responsible for providing analytical support of data and reporting processes that provide timely and accurate information processing, data extraction and manipulation, and complex reports to support Supply Chain financial and operational improvement. Through a thorough understanding of contracting, procurement, financial processes, warehouse distribution operations, as well as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Warehouse Management System (WMS), and business intelligence applications, this position is responsible for assisting with business operations support functions. The Analyst will work closely with facility Mission Partners focusing on the materials value chain as well as region and enterprise roles. Assists with the business operations for distribution, materials value chain, contracting, and in the best interest of Ministry Supply Chain in resolving and maintaining the integrity of the applications with corporate management information systems, vendors, and other OSF enterprise, regional, and local Supply Chain Mission Partners. Moderate travel required (approximately 30%).
Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma/GED and 7 years of progressive experience in healthcare supply chain operations and/or warehousing operations OR Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience in an analytical capacity, working in health care supply chain and/or warehouse distribution.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; must be capable of developing queries and formulas High proficiency in computer skills as related to current software used in supply chain operations such as PeopleSoft ERP Solutions, Premier ERP, GHX Exchange/Contract Manager, OSF Spend Analytics application, TECSYS.

Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information, tight time constraints, high level of accuracy, and high volume of work.

Strong interpersonal skills along with superior analytical skills to synthesize information quickly and present/summarize conclusions and recommendations to all levels of management and staff, vendors, and physicians as required Proven ability to work independently and proactively address issues with limited supervision, but seek guidance and offer suggestions on complex issues.
