KPMG is currently seeking an Associate to join our Federal Advisory practice.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide project management and engagement support to include developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and risk logs

  • Support the development of performance dashboards / executive briefings

  • Maintain project management artifacts, meeting notes, action item lists, and track activities through completion

  • Support status meetings, planning discussions / review sessions with client staff and client leadership

  • Communicate regularly with Project Managers, project teams and representatives from various functional teams, including escalating matters that require additional analysis

  • Participate in walkthroughs, document current / future stat of financial management functions, execute change management efforts related to finance transformation, support the development of financial strategies, and create / execute training materials


Qualifications:


  • A minimum of one year program / project management support experience; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred

  • Bachelor's from an accredited college/university

  • Experience in business transformation projects including process improvement and change management

  • Understanding of business processes, project management methodologies, and leading practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to establish rapport with clients and colleagues

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal government security clearance within a reasonable period of time, which requires U.S.citizenship
