Under direct supervision, independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. With additional experience within electrical design, assists in the design of larger and more complex assignments which involve conventional types of plans, investigations and surveys with relatively few complex features for which there are precedents. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.

This position is located at a client site in Circleville, OH. No per diem will be offered.


  • Responsible for study, design, specification and services related to electrical and electronic systems

  • Collaborate with project team to meet technical data package goals of a project.

  • Create bill of materials and assembly drawings.

  • Create cable drawings.

  • Select, specify and document purchased components and materials.


  • Preferred minimum 2 years electrical design

  • Field experience in chemical process a plus

  • Beginning knowledge and experience with PDMS and Solidworks

  • Familiarity with DuPont engineering standards/codes a plus

  • Strong communication skills required

  • Competency in MS Office software required


  • Work is located at a chemical plant and requires exposure to ambient temperature extremes

  • Work may require using and wearing personal protective equipment such as fire retardant clothing, hearing and eye protection, hard hat and steel-toed boots

  • Day-to-day physical requirements involve standard office activities including sitting/standing for extended periods of time, attending meetings, use of keyboard and mouse repetitively, lifting and carrying less than 20 lbs frequently, etc

  • Work requires moderate physical exertion including walking to operating areas and walking up stairs

    • May require walking the plant property
