Looking for an exciting and rewarding career? Look no further! Community Blood Center / Community Tissue services is looking for an Account Representative in the Champaign, Clark or Logan County area.


The Account Representative executes blood donor recruitment programs by serving as a liaison between Community Blood Center (CBC) and client organizations, managing all aspects of the recruitment process in order to meet goals for an assigned territory, while cultivating and maintaining strong community and public relations.


This is a local, home office position.


Essential Job Functions



  • Prospects, develops and manages sponsoring groups (corporate, industrial, church, school, civic and community groups) for mobile blood collections.

  • Strategically develops accounts to meet monthly sales goal.

  • Achieves high levels of forecast accuracy that result in the recruitment of sufficient number of donors, to meet the assigned monthly/annual collection goal.

  • Follows established 14-week recruitment and sales cycle acting as a liaison between the community and CBC/CTS.

  • Achieves quality Key Performance Indicator results.

  • Assist with development and implementation of strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.

  • Supports the marketing department with all local publicity and public relations before, during, and after mobile events; coordinates special promotions during the year to increase the blood supply and community awareness.

  • Communicates CBC/CTS's mission by speaking before a variety of community groups and participates in special projects.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
